i downloaded rinkside but whatever i search has no results! i even searched the most popular songs like swan lake and stuff but nothing came up! could anyone show me how to use this please???

Thats wierd sk84lif3, maybe the downloading process didnt work properly. Sometimes if I have to many things opened on my desktop it wont work properly... I'm no genius on all the troubleshooting but maybe you should try to download it again... :?:

The same thing happens with me, and I discovered it's because of my firewall...

The only way I can get the search function to work is by shutting off my firewall... :??

Is there any way to see what Rinkside has, without downloading? I don't want to download, because my connection and poor machines probably can't handle it, but I'd like to know what's available, so that I can hit up my brother-in-law to download stuff for me with his high-speed connection and CD burner. :D

Right click on a rinkside members's name and choose Download Filelist> You will get a list of what they have stored.

Searches work best using names of skaters, competitions (COR, COC, SA, SC), years (2004)

If you have a firewall, try the passive setting. That's what I use, and I didn't have to turnoff the firewall. However, there are some members that can't contact me, and some I can't contact, because of the passive setting.

Hi, rinkside sounds very interesting, what is it??? I tried www.rinkside.com but it was something to do with hockey and sports magazines. Could you please give me the address for it? Thanx! :)
