Got to wonder what in the world is going on. First the tickets were to be shipped in October. About 10 days, it changed to this week and that was the notice on their website through yesterday. Now it's changed to December 3rd!

Did you call the local number they gave on the website?

I didn't find out until after 5pm PT, so I'll have to wait until tomorrow. Having called before on another question, I don't know why I expect to get an answer but I'll try at least. I'm sure if they posted it on their web site that it's official. I'm sure that someone's head will roll - probably at the printing company! :frus:

I was surprised to read originally that tickets were to be shipped so early, and I really didn't believe it. I think the tickets are normally shipped in December, so maybe someone underestimated the timing they would need this year.

Portland may have been ambitious about how early they could send tickets out at first.
Dec 3 is really early for me compared to all other 7 years I have gone. I have gotten tickets as close to Nationals as 10 days. I wouldn't worry. They usually send them fed ex with a tracking number so if something goes wrong you can always find your own seats

I did try calling since I will be out of town on business for 2 weeks when they're now scheduled to arrive. I was trying to work out other arrangements without success - very unsuccessful conversation with a very rude box office staffer that actually hung up the phone on me. :frus: :frus: :frus: Not sure what is going to happen with my tickets now.

Don't worry, they'll eventually arrive.
Several times, late minute sponsors have caused delays in ticket printing. Or ABC has not finalized their camera locations. Ticketing cannot be finalized until ABC has their say, then printing is done.
Once, a late minute change by both caused the tickets to not be mailed but to be picked up upon arrival or Fed Ex'd, purchasers choice. The event that year was the first week in January and tickets were not done until about the 20th of December. They didn't want to have tickets lost in the holiday/end of the year mails and many people were going from their holiday destination to the event directly.
It's always a little stressful but ticketing always gets done in time!

Skatefan is correct. Nationals tickets are almost always later than originally announced. I have had to pick them up at the arena as well. This delay is pretty much par for the course.
It's interesting, though, that individual dickets have already been received. My friend purchased the "championship package" a few weeks ago. She received hers the following week. It seems that it's the all-event packages that will be delayed.

This is too funny!
I have my tickets. About three weeks ago I got a free SouthWest plane ticket... I decided to go to Portland.
So I went to Ticketmaster and ordered 1 All Event ticket. It arrived about a week later with the practice pass. Section 120 Row M. Not bad for last minute booking.

Okay I'm sorry to sound rude but if that means that people ordering now and getting their tickets already get better seats than those of us who ordered years ago, I will be pissed.

I can understand why you would be unhappy. (I have always ordered much farther in advance for all other events)
