i haven't been paying much attention to skating lately...but did i miss smth? is fedor still skating at the cup of china? ........i hope he's not injured like a lot of the 'top guns' *knock on wood

Andreev is injured (back, I believe) and has withdrawn from Cup of China.

oh no !! i was hoping to see him compete at the events ...in that case i wish him and many other skaters a speedy recovery & will be looknig forward to teh cdn nationals ^^

What's the status of his pair team work with Jenny Kirk? I was really looking forward to seeing them together.

Wouldn't skating pairs while suffering from a back injury seem a bit risky for him? Maybe doing pairs contributed to or caused the injury? Most pair guys struggle with back problems from time to time and if Fedor already has a bad back it might not bode well for a career in pairs. Anyway, I hope it is a minor injury and he recovers soon. Good luck Fedor!

Kirk is now in L.A. while Andreev stayed in Michigan, so he hasn't trained in pairs for quite a long time, as far as I know.
