Bare with me guys. As my spelling of her name I know is not right. On ch. 8 EST. tonight they just anounced that Pair Skater Tatiana feel and hit her head on the ice while skating with her partner at the World Championships yesterday. They said she was rushed to the hospital and relesed.

They showed the video on abc after the men's long- horrible fall, reports are that she is doing well though. It's weird to see such professional skaters fall like that, but it looked like her partner tripped on his blades or caught an edge.

Correction: it was Skate America that the fall had occured. And the couple were "World Champions"

Now when I saw the footage on our local news this evening, my heart just skipped a beat when I saw the fall.

Thank goodness she is doing alright. They said she was treated, and when asked about the fall, she says she has no memory of what happened or the fall itself.

They iintervewed the Pair today on ESPN2 and they said she had a concusion.She doesn't remember much about it and they want to get back on--ice asap.

I heard about that a couple of days ago. I wish I'd gotten to see it. I know it sounds sick, but geez. It looks nasty. I want to find a video clip or something. I'm glad she's alright though.

Oh my gosh, I just saw SA on tv last night (repeat) and saw the fall. It was so upsetting! I just hope she's ok.

more than any other part of skating terrifies me. There are times close to the ice (especially during practices) that younger teams are having so much trouble that I worry for them. These accidents are rare but when they occur they can be so tragic.

I am so glad she will be fine!
