Junior Pairs

Castile & Okliski

Novice Pairs

Uhligy & Loomis (sorry for the spelling)
Strong & Westfall

And pretty much of the rest of the Ann Arbor pairs teams.

Last I heard, Orscher & Lucash were going. It seems that Naumov's new junior pair will also be competing--Cate Rigoulet, and I can't remember her partner's name. :)

Quigley & Cording and Spielberg & Joeright were planning to skip it from what I was told.

The event schedule on S/J's site lists the Indy Challenge. They just updated yesterday with pics from Skate Detroit, but maybe they didn't get around to changing this.

Well, this competition should be interesting for Sr. pairs. It looks like we will get to see how Inoue/Baldwin will stack up against the rest of the field including Roth and McPherson! With Lucash/Orscher, and Spielberg/Joeright present this could be a barn burner! I am now trying to make time to attend this event! If I can't get there I hope that Aaon or Louis will be there to report back!

Here's a direct link to the roster: http://www.frogsonice.com/gateway/skatefans/msg06455.html

Thanks for notifying us that it was posted on Skatefans! :)

I'll be crossing my fingers that not too many teams pull out, but it wouldn't surprise me. Last year, 8 senior pair teams were entered and only 4 actually competed.

-Aaron (who's looking forward to it either way)

Aaron, I take it that you will be attending and providing your excellent reports?

I am going to be in town for the RCA Tennis CHampionships... I don't know IF I am going to be able to see the Snr-Pairs Free but I definately think I can be there for the SHort.
For all of you attending... try to park at the Circle Center PArking lots... In the Mall... It will only cost you $1. It is right next to the Pan Am Plaza. IF you park in the Pan Am FAcility it can cost you up to $20 due to all of the events that are going on in INdy that weekend. The Pan Am people are very greedy. THere are a few COnventions going on in the Convention Center and The RCA dome... Plus The Indy Tennis center is only a couple of blocks of way. Everything will be very compact that weekend. Not to mention the WOrld Basketball Championships stuff starting. But there is so so so much to do and it is so close to the Rink... There is no way you can not find something to after skating is finished for the day.

I think the Indiana State Fair will still be going on during the Indy Challenge as well. So many things to do in Indy. I'd love to go to the RCA Tennis Championships and was thinking about it late last spring, but I don't want to spend more money than I have to. Gotta have some for college. :)

Who from this board is going to be @ the Competition?? I used to help announce for it when I was a member of IWSA ( Last year and year before)... It is a real big event and all the competitors take it very seriously.
Aaron, glad to see another Tennis fan! What year in college are you? I'm going into my freshman year of college. I can't say I'm all that excited, I kinda wanted to take a year off. But this summer has been very relaxing and I sould be refreshed and ok.. I hope.
