I think this is smart...he should heal fully, so that we can see him skate for a longer time when he is ready, whenever that is.

This is disappointing, but I'm also glad to see Evgeny's taking all the time he needs to make a full recovery from his injury before competing seriously again. There have been far too many sad stories about what happens to skaters who've returned to the ice too soon after injuries, and I don't want Evgeny to become one of them. I'm sure he doesn't, either.
