Someone posted that link on the Kurtfiles mailing list under the heading "Celebration on Ice updated & Josée news" and my first thought before clicking on the link was, "I wonder if she's pregnant?"
So I clicked on the link and...am I the only one who wouldn't be able to tell from those photos that she's expecting? I actually thought the big Josée news was that she dyed her hair (it does look a little more reddish than usual!)
But if there's an even bigger change coming in Josée's life, congratulations and best of luck to her and Jean-Michel! I know they've both talked about wanting to start a family for a very long time and I'm thrilled it's finally going to happen for them. :D
It's wonderful to see the tour blog already updated, too--I didn't think that project would get underway until much closer to the beginning of the actual tour.

Congratulation to Josée and Jean-Michel!! She look happily pregnant. No doubt that they will have beautiful children.

I'm so happy for them both (although I guess that means there's little chance of seeing Josée guest in any shows this year). I know that starting a family was the main reason she decided to "retire," so I'm glad that her absence from the skating scene for a while has such a joyful reason.

This is very exciting news for Josee and Jean-Michel. But even better, they are expecting twins - a boy and a girl due to arrive in January. Two little skaters.... a future pair team??

Are there any articles confirming Josee's pregnancy with twins. I just think it would be so amazing for her and her husband if it is true!!!

From a very good source, it is true. Josee and Jean-Michel are expecting twins in the new year. It's very exciting.

Well, you better be right b/c this is such great news if it's not true I might cry. Words can't express how happy I am for Josee & Jean-Michel. She deserves this so much. They are going to be amazing parents.

You can trust Bailey's info - she used to run Josee's site (which, by the way, I still wish she would bring back!)
I'm happy for Josee. She and her husband are going to be amazing parents.
I am going to miss her skating though. Please tell me she'll do some skating next season, like Kristi Yamaguchi.

Posted on another board (and translated from a French newspaper):
Josée has been working full time up to her seventh month then had to stay in bed. She is expecting to give birth on the 26 of January. They've narrowed the names list down to four french female names and four french male names (which will be easy to pronounce in English) and will decide when they see the face of the babies.

It is almost the 26th. Twins are usually a little early. All the best to her!

We saw her a few times at Nationals this past week. I didn't think we'd see her since it is so close to her due date but she looked great (a big belly ofcourse but still great)!

Josee looks absolutely beautiful....but boy is that a big belly, it looks like it would hurt the skin to be stretched so much.

That's a very cute picture. I wish her the best of luck!!!
I actaully had a clinic with Josee. What a sweetheart.
I agree! lol at the article I found while researching for news on the twins. I guess sometimes having a popular name can hurt you a bit;

Word around some of the boards is that Josee has had her babies!!! Can anyone confirm this, or give any more info as of yet (eg. names??). Hope they are all doing well!!! ;)
On fsu, someone reported that Josee had her twins on the 26th, names are Noah and Fiona.

Congratulations, Josée and Jean-Michel! I'm glad the twins arrived right on time and judging from that photo (thanks for sharing it, BTW, second_destiny!), I bet Josée's glad, too! :D

Congratulations to them. What happened to the four French names? Anyone know what newspaper article that was mentioned in? I'd love to be able to read it if it's online.
I love Josee. I know she's going to be busy in the near future now, but I hope we still get to see her skate from time to time.

Hello Sydney, I'm new here as of this posting. I'm a little late for this info but the article in French I saw one in "la Revue 7 Jours, vol. 16 - #13 dated January 22 2005". I cannot tell you if this article is online as I haven't checked. Good luck.

Has anyone seen this new commercial for coffee with Josee Chouinard? It says Zoot or something and then Josee is interviewing two people on the product. Except that the product is not Zoot, I don't think, because I've seen that product around, but I can't remember its name at the moment....Sigh, put Josee in a commercial, and I actually become curious about the product! Is this a regular gig for Josee, or is it a one-time thing?

I think there is a commercial out there with josee interviewing the "designer guys" or "design rival guys"for an ad for coffee mate

Just a little update on Josee and the family. They are doing well. Josee is touring with Celebration On Ice,with the twins, and she was at the show in Sudbury, ON this past weekend. She was sitting in the penelty box behind where I was sitting, watching the show with the twins near by. During the second half of the show both Josee & Jean Michele were holding the babies, while standing by the "tunnell" watching the show. If I could have taken a picture I would have. What a sight to see. They look both very happy !!
