if you haven't already found these additional sites, do check them out and do register. ice-dance.com (which offers a photo option that would be helpful.) the one you're on offers a video option as well, and that would be useful for you to add. sk8stuff (don korte's site) is a large data base that carries older listings. the usfs partner search is a service provided to usfs members, for both dance and pairs to facilitate finding a partner.

regarding the above. i choose to believe the kid lost a bet, and this was the consequence---or perhaps it was a dare---in any case, i find it difficult to take this seriously and suspect we'll find out eventually it was a prank of some sort. (there are posters on other boards who seem to actually take this seriously: 8O )
then again, i wonder what would happen if some usa female dancer decided all the good russians were taken and made a bid. and $446,941.13 (usd)---starting bid $116,161.32 (usd)---might seem reasonable by some standards...
seriously, though, couldn't ebay have a problem here if someone actually, really placed a bid? isn't there a contract of some sort between buyers/sellers there?
