Songs you would like to see your favorites skate too-

I just thought this might be fun and could introduce some new songs to all of us.

First one from me-
I would love Michelle to skate to "My Way" by Frank Sinatra. The lyrics fit her perfectly, IMO. And it would be a different direction in her skating. I think it would be amazing(but then I find everything she does amazing, so I am hugely biased!) Anyway, here are the lyrics-

A song that I would love to see someone skate to is "River of Dreams" by Billy Joel. I can just picture it with some great footwork.

I know that I have some other ideas, but at the moment they have slipped out of my mind. Anyone else?

If Paul Wylie was still skating, I could see him skating to "Be Still" by Steven Curtis Chapman.

I'd like to see someone skate to the musical version of the duet between Ricardo and Amalia, final of Act II, I think, of Verdi's Ballo in Mascera. I forget why, but I was watching skating while listening to my CD player, and I couldn't believe how that music seemed to conform to the way the skater...think it was Sasha...moved on the ice. Every detail was 'musicalized' even more than usual.

Otherwise, I am hoping I won't die before I see SOMEONE skate to vissi d'arte from Tosca...a soprano aria...probably would have to be an exhibiiton.
