Lots of withdrawals for the senior ladies - doesn't give much of an idea how regionals is going to go...

Thanks for the link. I'm glad to see that Ian Macadam did well as I met him last summer when I was home in Massachusetts. He's a very nice young man and I hope he'll do well this coming season.

Anybody know why Louann Donovan withdrew? Can anyone comment what Emily Hughes did in the short and long?

Louann Donovan is in Germany right now skating at Nebelhorn. While it might have been possible for her to also have skated Cranberry, there would have been no point as it would have tired her out and interrupted her training.

I don't believe Louann Donovan intended to compete at Cranberry after she received her Nebelhorn Trophy assignment (she skates her SP in Germany tomorrow).
The only online mention/eyewitness report I've seen of Emily Hughes' Cranberry Senior FS (on the Unseen Skaters board) was that she "got her act together and afair only popped one jump and successfully repeated it later. I've never seen her skating before, so I was quite pleased with today's program." (BTW, Emily's next scheduled club comp. is Mid-Atlantics in NYC, Sept. 9-12).
:?: Just a dumb question: I saw Stephanie Crugnola skated Sr Ladies (8). Does anyone know what the other 2 Crunola sisters, Melissa and Jacqui, are doing with their skating? I think Jacqui went to U of Del for college and skating, but Mellssa had suffered some injuries that AFAIK were healed and she was back on ice.
