Confirmation that Sarah Hughes has joined SOI

Yes, it is official. The SOI site finally put up an announcement about it. It'll certainly give me something different to look forward to with the SOI show this year, to see how Sarah fits in, what she skates to, how she skates, etc.

She appears to be thinking about 2006 Olympics???...now I think that IS a stretch. With all the Japanese skaters that are doing so well and Sasha at top form I just can't see her considering another olympics. Certainly skating with SOI is a fun thing. It is so hard to break away from something you have done all your life. She is such a nice person but I don't personally like her skating. She doesn't make it look easy.

Actually to say she is thinking about the olympics is really supposition. All she said is "we'll see". In her mind she maybe think of being a commentator for it, without any plans to actually skate in them. So lets just sit back and see what happens over the next year. I am glad she is going to be skating again. I couldn't imagine training all those years and going all the way to the Olympics and then just walk away from the sport without a glance back.
