what are the current age requirements or limitations for skaters at the JGP series ?

"For all international junior events, competitors must have reached the age of 13 by the previous July 1st, but not yet 19 (except for men competing in pairs and ice dancing, where the upper limit is 21)."

Since the rule for the male skaters in pairs and dance is a little sketchy as worded above, a clarification--the skaters can only turn 21 on or after July 1st. A guy who turns 21 prior to that is ineligible. Likewise, all the 19-year-old skaters you see on the junior circuit will have turned 19 in July or later.
