How much longer until the new skating season starts? I think that I am going through withdrawal. Anyone else? Perhaps, the Olympics will fill in the void - for a few weeks anyway.

How much longer until the new skating season starts?

It's *already* started. Events going on this weekend include the Colorado Championships, Lake Placid Ice Dance Championships, Quebec Summer Championships, US Collegiate Championships, and National Showcase. Coming up later this month are more club competitions, the two NACS events (one in San Jose, one in Kitchener) and the first JGP event in France; the first senior international is Nebelhorn Trophy, the first weekend in September.
