I received my copy of Skating magazine today with Johnny Weir on the cover. I really enjoyed the article and the pictures of Johnny were terrific! I think he is a very handsome and talented young man.
I was at Nationals in Atlanta and was fortunate enough to have great seats during the mens short and long. It was such a thrill to see him skate so well. I saw Rudy win in '96, and it was the most exciting skating moment I'd ever witnessed.... and I thought Johnny's skate in Atlanta ranked right up there as one of the best. You can just feel the potential. He's got even more than what he gave at Nationals '04.
