Holy cow! Those senior results were so unexpected! Rohene had to have landed a quad, right, in order to beat MAtt? And Czisny must have had a total meltdown to end so far down. Webber must have had teh sakte of her life. Please send more details!!!!!!

AaronW will have details when he gets back to Indiana in a few hours. I don't think Rohene landed a quad but Matt didn't have a 3A and Rohene did, and Matt popped a couple of triples into doubles. I didn't watch at all but I'm sure Aaron took copious notes. He left Detroit around 5:30 so should be home by 9. Look for his report later tonight. If I know him he will be up late getting all the details on this board.

thanks for posting the results so promptly :D
I'm confused (more so than usual  )
What's the difference between senior ladies B freeskate and final ladies group B? I'm thinking you just accidently typed the results twice, under different headings?
how did Jennifer Park do - she's not listed under freeskate on this page(she's on another post, right? There were two freeskate groups?) I'm sure I can find the answers on my own, but if anyone else wants to take the time to explain it to me, I'd appreciate it!
Schmeck, easily baffled, don't you know...

What did Rohene land? Did he bring the house down? I am so happy for him.
How about novice ladies final round?

So what did it take to win Sr. Ladies (ie, what did Weber land?)
And what happened to Ben Miller? He wasn't listed at all, and had been in 3rd place after SP.

Lindsay landed a 3flip, 3lutz, 3sal, and 3toe-2toe and two 2axels.
Kelesy landed a 2axel, a 3sal and two 3 toes. Alot better then fri.
Alissa only laned a 3loop. A waltz jump for the 2axel and fell on every thing else. Came off the ice in tears. Amber and their mom and dad sat behind me the didn't say much. Also she nailed every thing in warm up.
Rohne did bring down the house. He laned every triple in his program besides the lutz witch he fall on, and the crowd went crazy when it happen.
He also did a 3axel-3toe.
Matt laned every thing besides both of his 3axels and the loop witch he poped. He almost ran in the boards in mid air on his 3lutz-3toe combo but he nailed it with out not much room. The crowd scream when it happen. Alexei at the Goodwill Games flased in my mind when it happen.
Ben Woolwine won junior men. He laned every triple besides the axel. He landed a 3toe-3toe in warm up and did a triple double in his program.
Tid-Bits I saw Yuka Sato who looks really tiny in person, Jenny Kirk was there again with Matt Lind who is really tall. Tanith Beblin sat with them for a while with Dusty Brinsmade and Adrania Decsantics. Marcy Hinzmann was there watching with Craig Joeright and Larisa. Saw a guy who looked like Fedor Andrev but wasnt for sure.
Highlight of the event was meeting Matt Saovie and getting his autograph. He was very nice.

Thank you, mkcrazy! I was only able to see the junior events today, and was really surprised at the senior results. Poor Alissa! She skated so well yesterday. And thanks for explaining who the guy Jenny was with. She was with him everyday and I wondered if he was a skater. No Todd Eldredge tonight? He also has been there every day and always comes for the men's final.

Love, love, love Rohene's skating and very glad to see him get this win. Actually, I'm rather fond of the top 3 men.
And great job Kelsey!

Fedor Andreev was at the competition on Saturday.
Ben Woolwine landed all triples except loop and axel.
I felt bad for Matt Savoie, but he will recover well. It's early.
Same for Alissa Csziny.
The house comes down for Rohene because he is the most genuine and nice person (and funny!!!), and treats every skater, from little ones to his National level peers, (and parents) with the same respect.

[i:880154a632]This is so true, and I was going to post the same observation about Rohene .
I have even tried to get him to "dish the dirt" on other skaters who I dont care for, but he wont go there!!!
When he was listening to his headphones right before he skated on Saturday he was moving to the music so well that I could have been happy just watching that  , I am thrilled that he has it all, the ability to skate well, dance well, perform well, and be a kind and warm person to all types of people. He doesnt have it as easy as some of the skaters, which makes his gentle sweet nature that much more inspiring. I wish him tremendous success this year![/i:880154a632]
