No, different interpretation of the law. So then the article implies that David should have not told the whole truth. Isn't not telling the whole truth a lie? I am sorry for Jamie and David not being able to skate and loss of income, but am proud of David for telling the whole truth.

I am sure that they will have the correct work papers shortly, as I love to watch them skate in person.:D

From what I gather from a couple of articles is that it was how that specific customs officer interpretted the work visa. It wasn't expired, or invalid, it was just an interpretation that caused the stoppage. I imagine now that S&P agents and lawyers will be working on one that is less apt to misinterpretation.

Really sorry for the fans as well as jamie and David, yet VERY happy to see that honesty and integrity in famous people is out there. I was on another site where is was suggested that these two were trying to "ride their Olypmics Golds" into the country, and I was appalled. If that was the case, there would have been a huge stink raised, and lies told etc...

Yet another reason that I am proud to be Canadain, and a Figure Skater!!!! Thanks to Jamie and David for being the people we all want them to be!!!
