Thanks for the link!!!! A very positive step that the ISU is appearing to attempt to clean up the judging issues! If only they would focus on the people that are the initiators rather than those caught in the middle!!!

No reason was given for his resignation.. and I hardly doubt ISU had anything to do with this so far since he's been indignant since his sanction. But.. this proves Hell has frozen over this week :halo:

If the ISU was attempting to clean up judging issues, they'd stop advocating secrecy and let judges be accountable for their marks and employ stiffer penalties for cheating judges and federations.

For example, how about a 5 years suspension for judges and federations who cheat on a first offense, 10 years on the second offense and life on the third offense. No time of for good behavior as in the past.

Stiffer fines, lifetime bans, along with accountablity, might just help the ISU clean up the judging scandel!

Maybe his resignation is a political ploy like David Dore and his sudden resignation from Skate Canada when he was preparing himself for his surprise nomination :roll: to the ISU congress?!?

Don't they say, once you've messed up in your current position, move up lad, move up!

By the way, why is David Dore so silent/invisible now that he's one of the ISU VPs? Seems he always had something to say when he was the Director General of Skate Canada. What's that guy up to now :?:
