Sorry if I posted this in the wrong place. I think this is right though.
On MSNBC within the next hour, Sarah Hughes will be a guest. She's going to discuss her "her decision to hang up her skates". Their words, not mine.
By the way, it's currently 5:10pm Pacific Time, 8:10 Eastern.

I don't know if anyone else saw it, but just a short recap. There wasn't much new information. Mostly an update on her studying at Yale and how happy she is. She doesn't plan to skate again now, but hasn't completely ruled it out. I got the idea that if she does skate again, it will be the show/pro circuit, not as an eligible skater.
Sarah looked gorgeous. Her hair is a little past shoulder length in a really pretty layered cut without bangs, and she has colored it a copperish red. At least that what it looked like on my tv. She looked relaxed and truly content with her life. She looked as though she'd put on a bit of weight, her face was just a bit fuller, but she's no where near overweight. Just a few pounds, and really, she just looked that much more grown up and "womanly".
Incidentally, the interviewer mentioned something to her about having another skater in the family, of course referring to Emily. Sarah got really excited and mentioned that Emily just won a competition in Finland!

I watched it. On my television, her hair was more like blonde, really pretty! I thought she looked great!
I enjoyed seeing her very much. She is so wise for her age, and so poised, articulate and yet down to earth.
The only other person who makes me feel that way is Beverly Sills, although they don't look anything alike (Beverly Sills was a great Met soprano, who now announces and commentates re: opera etc. and runs Lincoln Center).
I bet Sarah does some great things...and I will love seeing it too. Anyway, I loved the interview and hope she keeps touching base with all of us while she is at college...I can't stand to see people just disappear!
