Yep, May 9th from 1-3pm. I can't wait to watch it, from the reports I've read.

I was thrilled to see Sasha put it together. Congratulations to her on a richly deserved win. Is Shazuka still with Tarasova? I was a little surprised to see her with Usova and Platov. Jeepers, it's so hard to keep the coaching/coaches straight these days. Musical chairs.
How did Tim G do? Not too great if he was sixth and chacked to boot.

I was looking for a thread on this, so glad to see it was resurrected. I watched a little of the men, but fast forwarded it a lot. I like Plushenko and Joubert, but for some reason I can only see their competitive programs so many times before I can't watch them anymore.
The women; I think it is great the women did well again. Sasha had a great performance and looked so comfortable out there. I was proud of her.
I was also proud of Michelle because it looks like her competitive spirit is coming back. I think before she was holding back on adding more to her programs because she could get away with what she was doing and still win. But she has now learned she cannot do that--this most recent worlds was a wake up call. And when she was interviewed in the Marshall's comp, she looked excited to add more to her competitive programs, and even mentioned that a quad was being landed by others so she would have some work to do.

It was fun to watch eventhough I'm sick of some of those music already. Everyone seemed to have fun and took a relaxing attitude at the competition.
I would have put Joubert first. I think the French judge placed Joubert 2nd; otherwise, Brian would have won.
In the women, I thought it could have gone to either Sasha or Sizhuka, but I think all the judges favored Sasha.
MK looked strong even with two mistakes. She's usually very consistent on the second 3lutz, but it has been giving her problems this season. I thought both her combinations looked strong and good enough to pull off a 3toe at the backend.
Interesting that Sasha's costume was done by Miskly Baska (sorry that I decimated the name). So Vera Wang now has competition of her own :). Peggy said it was a good thing to bring in high-fashion designer for skating fashion, but I don't think so. It's fine if the designer donates the outfits for free, but if more skaters now feel that they need to spend top $$$ for outfits designed by top fashion designers, then it will not be a good thing. I still think Peggy and Dorothy's homemade outfits look pretty good.
I wanted to add that Wang wasn't the first high-profile fashion designer to design skating clothes. French designer Christian Lacroix (sp?) did Surya's outfits at Albertville, but I didn't think they were very successful.

The French judge placed Joubert first, as did the Canadian judge. Results (http://www.usfigureskating.org/event_related_details.asp?ri=content/events/200304/marshalls/men.htm).

Platov and Usova work with Tarasova as assistant coaches.
Timmy did not skate well - it was a mercy chack.
