My webzine, Intensity on Ice, hosts a unique feature called "Celebrating Past Olympic Champions". As many skating fans are not familiar with the history of the sport, this archival project intends to profile every Olympic gold medallist figure skater in history. Past profiles have included Ekaterina Gordeeva and Sergei Grinkov, John Curry and Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean.
Our newest profile highlights the career and style of 1992 Olympic gold medallist Victor Petrenko, who is also the 1988 Olympic bronze medallist.
