Hello all,
Just got back from Liberty Open and what an event it was...my head is still spinning from all the day's events--tired me out but was A LOT of fun to watch. The final freeskates of all the major events were held today and it sort of felt like the big finish of a great fireworks show. Anyway I'll just post all the results in this thread...
Thanks again to all the people running the competition and rink for posting the results and ordinals quickly and in an organized way. The snack bar was great and the temperature was nice-- what a great competition!

1.Houston, 2. Zukowski, 3. Ellis, 4. Lin, 5. Karson, 6. Richards, 7. Reidy, 8. Taylor, 9. Lee, 10. Jordan (8-10 might be wrong because I seem to remember Shantel Jordan being 9th)
NOVICE MEN FS FINAL

Didn't get INT Pairs results but I remember that Katz/Lynch won. They skated novice SP and won that too. I'd imagine that they will skate novice at sectionals (and hopefully nationals) this year-- they were quite nice.

I have no interest in Juvenile and below and did not copy down results. Sorry for those who wanted these results, but there's actually a limit to my mad skating obsession...hopefully you know someone that was there or maybe the official website will eventually post those results.
Since some skaters were in great shape at this point and some were just getting back on the ice about a month ago (and everything in between too), some people were skating near their potential while others looked pretty sloppy. I would advise against reading *too* much into these results, but certainly they are a fairly significant indicator as to some of the names we can look for who can make a splash in the upcoming season. Lots of skaters look quite motivated and ready to burst out onto the scene-- regionals and sectionals should be great if these skaters can stay healthy!
