I'm a bit confused by the two references in the article about Joynny expecting to be asked to leave the USFSA. He expected to get resignation papers? Ah, no, the USFSA doesn't operate that way, does it? What's with that? Is it just his way of expressing that he had a horrible free skate in 2003, and that he didn't feel worthy of skating in the senior level at Nationals?

I loved his quote at the end of the article, about his skating not changing the world. Yes, skating is a sport, a recreation, and it doesn't really change the world, just promotes sports industry. He realizes it's not the most important thing in the world, but a means to an end - to be able to use his success to promote his ideas, etc.
