View Full Version : Galleher/Coughlin split
I just checked the USFSA website and saw that Lucy Galleher and John Coughlin have split. What's up with that? I thought they were adorable. I guess adorable doesn't get it anymore.Anyone know if they are looking for partners?
From what I've heard Lucy misses her family in Denver, so she will be moving back there after she graduates from high school, at the end of the school year. I don't think either one is actively seeking a partner for the next season, but, if a boy is available who either lives in Colorado or is willing to move there, she might become more interested in continuing. John is focusing on getting his triple axel ready for next season in singles, but if a girl with a clean double axel and at least one clean triple wants to move to the Kansas City area, he would at least consider it. I hear the kids and families are not closing any doors on the future, though, and remain good friends, so who knows. They had a very special look on the ice and it's a shame to see them break up just when they were coming together so nicely. I wish both kids well. They are really good young people and I enjoyed them so much.

Hey what about Lucy Galleher and Nathan Hess? I know he is looking for a pairs partner and skates novice/junior pairs. He trains at the World Arena in CO Springs. Hmm, anyone else think this partnering might work? Well whatever happens, best of luck to both John and Lucy with their skating.
