Thank you for sharing that story, dgel. It certainly does put life (and all the constant online debates about which skater is better/should have won XXX competition XXX years ago) into perspective, doesn't it?

I believe her family, fortunately, do not need financial support, but i'll check further. The original article had a nice photo of Robyn on the ice playing sledge hockey. I think most people I know had a tear in their eye after reading the piece...

How could one not have tears in their eyes after reading that remarkable, sad, loving and yet so full of hope story. Robyn, does not need luck she has God on her side.

Thank you for posting this. Life is not so bad in comparison, this makes one want to give a hand and help. How can we argue over petty things when somewhere, someplace, someone's life is so hard? Yet so inspiring.
