Great article on Sarah at Yale, she is so wise for one so young. :)
I got the link from FSU.link (http://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/showthread.php?s=&postid=224603#post224603)

Edit to add the link.

I just finished reading the article in USA Today...good article, and takes up almost half of the first page and half of the second page of the sports section.

Thanks for the link!

A few things made me cringe, but all in all, a very nice article. Interesting that she doesn't think Robin will want to coach her, now that she's coaching Sasha...

Perhaps you wouldn’t mind sharing what made you cringe in this article; I found it to be candid and delightful.

I like the article. It's difficult not to like the girl :) It's cute that the new roommate emailed back to Sarah something like "I don't skate, but I run a lot". Maybe when she's done her 4 years at Yale, she can go back to skating shows for a few years before heading off to professional or grad school or whatever.

Pasted from the article:

"I had an extremely difficult skating season the season after the Olympics because I didn't really know what was going on and no one around me really did either, which made it more confusing for me," Hughes says. "I was really happy to have a place to come to just think."

Just the part that she "didn't know what was going on and no one around me really did either" ????? Uh, duh?

Also, the way she used the word "richness" at the beginning, but that could have been the reporter's words, a bit of a paraphrase. I would hope an honors/Yale student would have a better vocabulary.

But I consider these small cringes, and most likely were the result of how the reporter wrote the article. Like I stated before, all in all, a very nice article. I'm going to have my daughters read it tonight, after they finish their homework.
