Hi, I am a student at university and would like to interview skaters about their friendships in sport for my degree. The questions asked would not be of a personal nature and all information will be kept confidential.
I'm in desperate need of volunteers! So please post any questions you may have, or just a response to this agreeing to be interviewed and we can make arrangements.

try contacting usfsa. they might be able to offer suggestions as to how to go about contacting a broad group of competitors from all disciplines (freestyle-pairs-dance).

your sample will be badly skewed if you only get contacts from a board such as this or unseen skaters. there is nothing wrong with the boards, it's the calling for volunteers that will skew it. if you structure a balanced list and make contacts via e-mails, you sampling will be much better.

you might also be able to find pair/dance contacts to approach via e-mail on the various pair/dance partner search sites and could further network from there.
