I'd appreciate any help I can get. I'm after a picture of Peggy Fleming's chartreuse dress from the '68 Olympics. I'd prefer one of a reasonably large size, as I'm including it in an appendix on a paper on skating costumes that I'm doing for university. (I know, I didn't expect to get to do a paper on such a thing either, lol)

If anyone could point one out on the internet I'd really appreciate it. I haven't found one that's either large enough, or that I know for sure is the correct dress.

Thanks in advance!!!!!

Thanks everyone. The project has been handed in, complete with photo, now I just have to await the mark and see if she'll let me do my second project on skating as well. :)

as a side note...it's interesting to see this photo used as an example of costuming. i don't know fleming but an aquaintance of hers. and i recall also reading about this.

her skating dresses, i understand were mostly made by her mom. and the fabrics "back then" were no where near as easy to work with as the fabrics today.

a bit of trivia picked up along the way!

(it also makes one wonder about the current status of costuming!)
