I'm old enough to remember Jamie skating singles but I don't know of any websites. She was a decent singles skater but never had the 'big jumps'.

She had a great presence though. Very fun to watch. :)

I remember when she competed in singles there were 2 categories of skaters in the ladies event: the ones with great presence but very few jumps (notably Jamie and Keyla Ohs), and the skaters with jumps but very little artistry (namely Angie Derochie -- who later improved somewhat artistically but at the time was very weak).

i have a little clip (verybad quality) on a jamie/david complilation tape i got over a message board. like everyone else said, she didnt have the big jumps.

The last time I remember Jamie skating singles was at 1998 Canadian Nationals in Hamilton. She didn't have the big jumps, but of course had the presence & artistry she shows now as a pair. I remember Barb Underhill commentating at that event, saying something like Jamie is a born pairs skater, and would love to find another partner....a few months later I read online that she'd partnered up with David and the rest, they say, is history....

I remember seeing Jamie skate singles at 1998 Canadians as well. I know I did take pictures of her, but I'd have to dig them out, and scan them. Looks like roza was kind enough to post the links !
