Johny Weir on The Today Show

Anyone caught Weir this morning on Today? He skated to "Imagine". Choreographically I didn't care for the program, but I was impressed that he landed a 3lutz and three 3toes in the outdoor rink and in the rain too.

I think Ann interviewed him some time afterward, but I had to leave for work after the skate.

I saw the studio interview. He was asked if skating in the freezing rain bothered him & he said "no". Asked his age, what he was doing to prepare himself for Worlds, how many hours a day training? He replied 3 hrs a day & twice a week he does pilates. He, also, said that he would be performing with COI during their Spring tour. He was very calm, very articulate. (very cute, too!)

MQ - remember that the rink at Rockefeller Center is very small, so I'm sure that he had to alter the choreography to fit the rink.
