So far, I can only think of two

Kirk at Skate America
Pfaneuf at Four Continents and Canadian Nationals

phaneuf skated a 6 triple long at canadians but 7 triples in 4CC
nevertheless... a great skate both times!

Miki Ando may have done a program with 1-quad and 6-triples this year, but I'm not sure. If so, that would be even better than 7 triples!

In fact, even if it were 1 quad and 5 triples, I'd put that above a 7-triple program in technical difficulty.

If you also factor in that she has landed triple lutz/triple loop in the short, I'd say that overall she has done the most jumps per competition - 3 triples in the short, 1 quad and several triples in the long - of any woman this season.

Has this quad actually been ratified by the ISU? At what competition did she do it? I can't believe I haven't heard anything about it before now!

Miki Ando did a quad salchow in her FS at the Junior Grand Prix Final in December 2002 (one week before her 15th birthday) that was ratified by the ISU -- see:

She has subsequently landed the 4sal in her senior national FS in December 2003 but had a few mistakes on some of her triples. I believe she completed a 7-triple (no 4sal attempt) in her FS at the Mexico City JGP in September 2003.

That's amazing!! I can't wait to see her live somewhere or at least on TV. Is she going to enter the senior ranks next year?
The depth of the Japanese Women's program is nothing short of astounding. What's their secret I wonder???

One of my favorite live skating moments to date was watching Miki Ando land 7 triples to win the Jr. Grand Prix competition in Montreal in September 2002 (she was also practicing the 3axel and 4salchow there and had some good attempts!). BTW, the bronze medalist in Montreal was... Cynthia Phaneuf, who also left a very positive impression on me! :)

I forgot to mention that Ando won her first senior national title in December (over Fumie Suguri and Shizuka Arakawa) and will compete in her first senior Worlds this March. Ando has been shown on US cable TV twice (2002 and 2003 Junior Worlds where she won the bronze and then the silver medal, and she may be trying for Junior World gold in early March).

Fierce internal competition among the ladies from novice through senior!
