Don't say you weren't warned. This is not good news for TV viewers but was quite predictable. If this is accurate of what will get signed, less TV coverage and money for ISU events. Personally, I blame CoP and secret judging for lower TV ratings but Speedy will never admit to that.

Slick maneuver: Cinquanta has a plan to help him get approval of figure skating's new Code of Points scoring system in championships and the Olympics. Although judging issues normally are considered by only figure skating delegates, Cinquanta will argue that so much of the ISU's revenue comes from figure skating the entire organization should have a say in a reform designed to restore confidence in figure skating results.
Why should the other organizations get a say??? Just because figure skating supports those organizations? To me, if those organizations want to have a say in figure skating, they should be the one's helping support the sport. Although even that seems to be a stretch IMO. Officials in other sports have no right to decide how judging is done in figure skating (and the other way around, figure skating officials shouldn't be able to weigh in on speed skating and short track skating rules/regulations).
