Well, the marriage was confirmed by Michelle in her interview with Hersh so the only potential rumor is the baby and I have a feeling the AJC probably had a pretty good source.

I don't think she will coach much, she's so rich, and she seems intent on eligible skating til Turino. At 26, she will have done her share of tours.

I hope SOI will still be around...think they'd offer her a spot? With Lipinks out and Sarah still in college, If Michelle medals will she stay with Champions on Ice or go with the ensemble tour. I hope she goes with SOI for a while where the skaters are done with killer competitions and are a friendly group.

I have seen Daria Grinkova skating at 11 and I don't think one would notice her skating unless they knew who her parents were. Though she is growing into a beauty with Sergei's features. So who knows what baby Oppegard will do?

Still, there's hope with Liza Kulik the 3 year old, I guess. Of all the babies of skaters, I hope some kid in Canada named Browning will have those dancing feet and win the oly gold someday for old papa Kurt. Wouldn't it be great to see the baby boom of the last few years all become skaters of SOI caliber.

It's not a rumor, the baby is due in March.

Yep, its true. I saw a very pregnant Karen Kwan Oppegard in Atlanta. She looked beautiful.

I was in front of her and peter on the escalator in the omni hotel right after the pairs event this past week and she is pretty big! Also, she looks so beautiful pregnant....she had a very stylish black dress on and high stylish sandals.
