What world Brian Boitano do?

I was watching the Today Show and the South Part gang sang a song called "What Would Brian Boitano do"?, it's the funniest thing l've ever heard. ANyone know the orgins of the song?

It's my understanding that the creators of South Park wrote it because they (or at least one of them) are fans of Brian's. Brian used it in one of his Vegas shows.

It was used in the movie South Park but if you get the video or DVD of the movie you can see some band performing the song with a bit of Riverdance thrown in.

Also Brian made an appearance in the original South Park clip that did the rounds before the TV series was made where he saved Santa and Jesus from fighting each other.

Brian has shown up a couple of times in South Park. Don't forget his brief skate across the screen in Big Gay Al's Big Gay Animal Sanctuary

They've also poked a little fun at Nancy Kerrigan on South Park. In the "Damian" episode, Jesus has to fight a boxing match with Satan for control of the world. Jesus is getting beat to a pulp, because he lost his spirit when he found out almost everyone in town bet against him. The kids are trying to perk him up by giving him a coaching spiel, saying in essence "Don't quit fighting. What would Nancy Kerrigan do? Would she settle for second? Would she lose the gold medal? No way! She'd keep that fighting spirit alive and keep going until she won." And the other kid interrupts with, "Dude. Nancy Kerrigan got the silver. She came in second. She lost." It was pretty funny!

They also poked fun at Nancy again in an episode where one of the kids said, "I said, 'Kyle, I will kick you in the n***.' But he didn't give it back to me, so I kicked him square in the n*** and he cried like Nancy Kerrigan."

BTW - I saw South Park with a couple of friends who know nothing about skating because it just isn't shown in Australia and had to explain who was Brian Boitano to them.

I am surprised Tonya has never been mentioned on South Park, or is she just too sick an individual for the even the makers of South Park to tackle?
