My TV guide shows that PBS will air a Great Performances Vienna New Year's special on Thursday 1/1 with some skating (not sure when during the broadcast, how much, or who).
In the MD/VA/DC area, you can catch it on MPT (Channel 22). I'm not sure if this going to be shown at the same time on other PBS affiliates.
