I like Robin's reply to the question about choreography:
Never forget who you are choreographing for. You are there to make them look and feel better - not to make them look like you.
Robin's reply reminded me of Minh Zhang's program at CoC choreographed by Brian Orser. The program looked like Brian simply took elements typical of Brian's past competitive programs and gave it to Minh. That to me is not a sign of a creative or good choreographer, because Minh Zhang is now skating like an Orser clone instead of like Minh Zhang. It also reminded me of when Toller Cranston choreographed for Chris Bowman and Colin VanderVeen. I rembered being annoyed watching their programs, because I kept on seeing typical Cranstonesque moves throughout their program.
