Do you need classical suggestions?
Because we need to know what type of clasical first.

Well I'm looking for something slow and delicate. I dont know how to explain it cuz I'm actaully looking for something for a program. So I havent really narrowed it down. Thanks

When I think of music from skating that's absolutely beautiful, here are some pieces (some of which I ended up either skating or dancing to myself):

"Big My Secret" from "The Piano" (Michael Nyman) - Annie Bellemare used this as a SP for 2 years and Laetitia Hubert used it as part of a SP 1 year too

"Poeme" (Secret Garden) - Josee Chouinard's pro program

"Somewhere In Time" (I'm drawing a blank on the composer)

"Out of Africa" (John Williams) - a pro program for Woetzel and Steuer.. this is what I used when I got my gold medal at provincials here in NS actually

Two pieces I have seen used for dance, though not skating, that are not classical but great choices are "Sweet Lullaby" by Deep Forest and "Galaxy Bounce" by Chemical Brothers

My suggestion of slow and delicate would be "The Swan" from Saint Saens "Carnival of the animals".

I do agree about Somewhere in Time though - it is really nice. Don't know the composer either but I have seen lots of skaters do it and always enjoy it.

Well, I'm a little impartial to Mozart, but that's me ;)

Somewhere in Time's beautiful original music was written by John Barry (Born Free, Out of Africa, James Bond films).

I also like that Barber's Adagio of Violins (I can't remember what it's called exactly) It's from Platoon. I don't know how well it would work, but it's kinda pretty/dramatic.

I have a couple of other ideas. Air on a G string (by Bach I think) and Pachabel's Canon.

You might also think about Debussy "Afternoon of a Faun" - used by both Yuka Sato and Janet Lynn, but my orchestra just played this one and it is just glorious.

Another one could be the 2nd movement of Mozart Piano concerto No. 21. It is slow but very nice.
