I just drove by Steinberg on my way back from lunch. The rubber mats are out, there is a crappy layer of ice on the rink, and calling their office, the projected opening date is this Friday, November 14.

Rates are $6 for adults, $4.50 for kids. Hours are 10am - 9pm Sunday through Thursday, 10am to midnight Friday and Saturday. Not sure if they are hosting ice dance only sessions this year or not; nobody was there and no one picked up when I called.

In case anyone is wondering, "STL" = St. Louis, Missouri, USA. Steinberg is the large outdoor rink situated in Forest Park. I enjoyed skating there when I lived within walking distance of the rink! :)

OMG, I lived in StL at the time that rink opened and admission then was 50 cents for adults and 25 cents for children. That was in the 50's so I shouldn't be suprised at how inflation has affected the price of admission but it still took me by surprise.
