Senior Ladies

1st Michele Cantu 1 1
2nd Alicia Sanchez 3 2
Ana Cecilia Cantu 2 withdrew before the long program due to injury.

Senior Mens

Thanks for the results. Any idea if the world and junior world teams have been named? I'm kind of curious as to what they'll do with Michele Cantu. She might have a pretty decent shot of making it to at least the short program, maybe even the free skate, at junior worlds, which would be quite an accomplishment for a Mexican skater. But I suppose as senior national champion, she'll be sent to worlds. Perhaps she can do both? I'm interested in following her progress--it's fun to see a Mexican skater showing the potential to be competitive internationally.

She surely should be able to go to both Junior and Senior Worlds, her sister did just last season. However, nothing has been announced yet about it and it usually isn't announced until pretty late..
