not everything that you see on TV everyone gets to see. Remember there are people from other countries who don't get the skaing coverage like you do.

You're right, but I didn't want to say that the Sasha thread was the spoiler, because once someone knew that, they could also guess the results and my post would have become a spoiler too.

Hey.. quite frankly it is easier to just have all the Grand Prix stuff in one folder. Nearly half of the conversations end up being repeated because no one bothered to read anyone else's posts in the proper forum ;)

It might appear that this thread was about you because of something you posted without knowing how "spoilers" work, but I think it was really posted as a reminder to all of us and to those new to the boards. I would not take it personally. I can not speak for the rest of the people who post here but I was not angry at you for not knowing how things work on this board yet wanted you to know for the future.

I doubt anyone is angry with you in particular. Many of us have been posting on these boards for a long time and are used to not having "spoilers". People who are new to this venue don't know that without being told. Now you know, and now I assume you will post stuff with spoilers in it in the correct areas. I see from your other posts that you are a nice and sweet and well meaning person. No one is pointing you out, but rather, taking this opportunity to remind everyone that spoilers are not fun for those of us who do not want to know the outcome of events before they are televised.

You seem like a lovely person. Try not to take things so much to heart. This is a great group of people who take skating very seriously and so those of us who want to wait until we get to see a competition for ourselves before we see the results get a bit annoyed when we come to a place where we think we are safe from knowing them. We have worked hard not to see them. We have come to know this board as a place where we can talk about what we love without fear of seeing those results before we watch the event.

This was a great way to remind people of how spoilers work and why. Not a way to try to make you feel badly for something you were not aware of.

Keep posting. I love your posts. You are clearly a person who knows skating and it is interesting to read what you write. We all love skating or we would not bother to write here. That gives us much more in common than not. I am sure you have insights that we will love to hear about!

You've 'heard' it? That's interesting, since Jade is you. No, lilwish might not be hearing from 'Jade' in the future, but I'm sure she can keep up with whatever your latest incarnation is if she wishes.
