Marcoux & Wirtz

According to an article in the Globe & Mail (July 5, I think), M & W will compete at Skate Canada. Seems quite early in their pairing to announce this, although the pickings at the senior level in Canada are quite slim at least for the moment.... Has anyone else heard of this? Is it a typo perhaps?

Apparently that would have been their first international "exposure" [b:8c1fc58e4a]if[/b:8c1fc58e4a] they had stayed together. Apparently, however, there has been yet another shake up of partners in the Wirtz camp recently :roll:

The new pairings are:
Elizabeth Putnam & Sean Wirtz
Valerie Marcoux & Craig Buntin

As well, there continue to be rumours about a return of Wirtz & Wirtz to eligible competition :roll:

I guess Skate Canada (the organization) will have to rethink the international assignments 8O
