what are the age requirements for remaining eligible in the junior ranks for pairs/dance teams (i.e. if one partner is older than the other)?

Both partners have to meet the ISU age requirements...in others words, under the age of 19 for females and 21 for males in dance and pairs. If one partner is over the age limit, the team is ineligible for Junior events.

To be more specific, the female partner must be no older than 18 on July 1st, and the male partner must be no older than 20 on July 1st. So if they turned 19 and 21 on July 2, 2002, or later, they're eligible this year; if they turned 19 and 21 on July 1 or earlier, they're not eligible. Both mens and ladies also have a limit of 18 on July 1st.
