Can someone tell me more about Rey and Rey. Why have I missed them - totally. I don't remember them from any Nationals.

they used to skate for germany, but they trained here. they were around a long time as a "kid" team in the usa, and then shifted to europe. they're back now, having waited out the required year. i don't have much info on their relative success while competing there.
Wow! Congratulations Julia Lautowa! :D

Congrats to Julia. She gained a lot of new fans at the 2003 Worlds with the ending to her freestyle program.
Too bad for Yon Garcia. He has a nice style.

Full reports can be found here: Europe on Ice message board (http://pub238.ezboard.com/fkevinscornerfrm8) Garcia (ESP) skated to "Chaplin". I think practically everybody in the building was seeing him for the first time. He had a few mistakes, like turning most of his triples to doubles, but his timing and expression to the music was impeccable. It was the first time that the audience clapped along to a skaters programme during the two days of competition. The presentation was simply wonderful.
