Also, is there a version of this song that has a girl kind of "whispering" in the beginning?

There was a performance at a dance recital I went to called "Winter" I think it was related to, or the same, music "Yagudin used. I loved both songs but have no clue who they're by!

Actually, it's performed by a group called Bond, from their CD "Born." (Great CD!!!:D) The composers are Gil Brown and Yoad Nevo, according to Amazon.com.

The beginning of the song "Winter" includes a girl's narration with music and then kicks into the music Alexei used for his awesome 2001/2002 SP. Here is some of the narration:

I have seen rain and blossoms. Now I go to view the last and loveliest -- The snow.

Is it possible to find a version of Winter without the vocals - similar to the one Alexie used?

yes b/c my brother(who is a huge alexie fan) skated to it...we d/l the music off of kazaa....we even made my brother an outfit that looked just like alexie's :D haha he was so stinking cute!

Alexi probably just had the vocal part cut out of his music. If you have some high tech equipment you can take away each track but only if the song was recordeed on more than one track

I agree with jp1andOnly. The track for Winter is 5:44 long so Alexei definitely only used part of it for his SP.

bond's second cd isn't nearly as good...like the first one best...i play it often, even though it does remind me of yagudin's sp...(not a fan of his skating...and i catch hell for it from his fan club all the time...;))
