Just curious ... why is a person's mugshot available to anyone who wants a copy of it? For the most part it's embarrasing for the convictee so why doesn't he have a right to keep the mugshot private?

No one has forgotten or is ignoring the fact that Yag's picture is a mug shot, but the guy can't help it if he still looks good in the picture.

I agree. Yes, it is a mug shot, and no one is denying that. But most mug shots look as if the pictures were taken after the people had spent an entire month in the woods. Yagudin's looks more like it was taken during a professional photo shoot!

It strikes me that the picture is posed -- unlike most mug shots -- this is a picture of a guy who is used to having his picture taken and knows how to pose.

And so, it's a very nice mug shot!!

OK, everyone yes he is a good looking young man. Why the mug shot on the Internet? Who knows, but it was leaked from the police department. 8-) Who really knows but we are all looking now aren't we.:!: Lets remember he was driving drunk, but I have to admit at 23 I too drank and drive. The laws are much stricter now though. So its best to not do it. You know the local police knew who he was when they arrested him too.:roll: Not that it makes it right what he did.........but that is probally why he did not get a warning. What do you think? Who knows it late and I'm going to bed.;)

No JAAZZ, nothing to drink. Just making a silly remark, that is all. Its funny how serious people are about the post on these boards. People should NOT drink and drive, the cost is to great! He could have really hurt someone, thank God he did not! He should pay a hefty fine and possibly jail time. I know that wont be a popular stand on his drinking and driving.
