Thanks for the link, Catherine!
What affect does the ban have on Didier anyways? Wasn't he just elected President of his federation again? So, he can't go to competitions as an official - was he banned from going as a spectator? Because he is their president, does the French Federation lose it's representation?

If Didier thinks it costs too much money to appeal, where is Mme. Le G. getting the money for her appeal?
Maybe she sold her fur coat?

Snowflake...do you really believe the "it costs too much money" line? :?: :?: I don't and I doubt you really do either. I smell something really rotten in this scenario and at this point, I do not want to let my imagination run away with me... I do believe, however, that a lot more dirt is going to come out on this topic and it is going to be really ugly. :P
The 114th Session of the IOC that is coming up in Mexico City at the end of this coming November is going to be a doozie because of all the "nonsense" that has been going on in this past year   Dr. Rogge was really angry because of the shennanigans that erupted in Salt Lake and no doubt he is even angrier now that the ISU squandered the opportunity to clean up the mess itself at its congress in Kyoto last month. Unlike Samaranch or Speedy, Dr. Rogge was an olympic athlete himself and very much is looking to the best interests of the athlete.
Who knows...maybe the skating community will get an early Christmas present.
Well, I'm surprised. But sometimes these things backfire and maybe
DG just thought it wasn't worth it.

To paraphrase Hamlet, there is sure is something rotten in the state of figure skating... :halo: :x I cannot even begin to guess as to what those two might be up to, but I am sure it is something unpleasant...somebody is sure hiding something...
So fasten your seatbelts everybody...it is going to be a bumpy ride  :P
I saw it reported on CNN this afternoon, DG is not appealing his suspension.
