Bauil Meets her Father

Pretty amazing. During her heyday, the networks reported that her father was "presumed dead". There was never a mention of him being at her mother's funeral. At least not that I ever heard.

Has anyone seen this reported in any other place?

I would imagine that this is a big event for her and that she would meet him with some ambivilence.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that she was freaked out by someone claiming to be her father at her mom's funeral.

I'm glad they were able to meet, and I hope they have some kind of relationship....I read another article stating that in planning her wedding, she realized that there was no one (family-wise) to sit on her side of the church.

I am a big fan of Oksana's and wish her the best. I'm really looking forward to seeing her skate again this year!

I'm glad for her...its an enormously important step in dealing with some issues...for her sake, not his!

Oksana should have many, many people on her side of the church...not blood family, perhaps, but people who love and nurture her!
