Hey...

Just wondering if any of you have any updates on Joannie's training/programs etc?

She is such a promising skater....I'm very keen to hear what's going on with her.

Thanks,
fsfan

Joannie is doing great in practice. Her lutz is much more consistent this year, and she has a new short program to the music "Metamorphoses" by Willy Schwarz. She will be keeping her free skate ("Once Upon a Time in the West"), although parts of it have been rechoreographed. During this weekends Skate Canada monitoring session, she did five clean triples in her free skate (including a lutz), and she's excited to get the season started!

Thank you so much for the updates.

She was definitely the highlight for me at the Worlds this year in Ladies..> She was the first Canadian lady that I really thought, "Boy... maybe we will have a successful lady in the top 5 in the world someday)...

Good for her!! :D

(One more thing.. I have so much respect for her coach, Manon...for forcing her to "re-learn" the lutz with proper technique etc.

Go joannie!

I see that Joannie Rochette is competing in the George Ethier comp. in Quebec the first weekend in October, as is Cynthia Phaneuf. Sr. Mens should be interesting too!
