US Pairs

Could anyone tell me if they've seen Tiffany Sfikas and Jeffrey Weiss skating?

They train in San Jose, Calif., under Tracy Prussack.
They recently finished choreographing their short program with Chris Conte, which will be set to Jimi Hendrix's "Little Wing."

They are focused on training hard to prepare for the upcoming competition season, and they want to compete to the best of their ability at the 2004 State Farm U.S. Figure Skating Championships, landing them on the podium.

i was pleased to hear tiff had returned to pairs when the match was originally announced. please, since you seem to have a close interest, fill us in on their progress.

i don't remember seeing them on the indy challenge roster, but may not have looked closely enough. did they compete? if not, why not?
if so, how did they do?

Sfikas & Weiss didn't compete at the Indy Challenge because they wanted to wait until they were ready to make a strong competitive debut. (I think they were on the roster and scratched, though.) They wanted to have as few "new pair" problems as possible at their first competition and recognized that going to Indy would probably not be a good use of their time, so they're focusing on competing later in the season. (I think I heard something about a possible exhibition at regionals? And obviously sectionals would be their first major event.) They're definitely still together and AFAIK there are no big injuries or anything like that hindering them.
