How to mend runs in tights/leggings

I just made new runs in my tights while falling during practise before competition the other week... and its quite obvious and i was wondering if and how I could mend it... any tips? I did see some iron on things at spotlight where i buy my cloth and stuff but I'm not sure how those works ...

Dabbing clear nail polish at the start and finish of the run should stop it in its tracks.

Yep, clear nail polish. If you need to repair sweater tights patch up the hole with needle and thread first.
