In your own words,what do you feel like when your lifted?

  • Utter terror. Is he going to drop me (it has been known!)?
  • A sack of coal. He grunts when he lifts me. Hey, I'm not that heavy!
  • Not as elegant as I'd like to be.

Like flying - light and airy. With a good partner you can't feel the edges or steps as he turns.

For synchro lifts (in exhibition only - my collegiate team can't do lifts in competition )...

I usually feel:
* strong (arms, legs, core, etc.)
* relaxed and trusting
* dizzy when I accidently look at the ceiling while spinning

SCARY I did a platter lift once and went over my partner's head

So after that I developed a fear from lifting

But I love getting thrown though
